Trust Me

Johnny was quietly playing the other day, just out of my line of vision. He was jut around the corner, and was very quiet.

“Johnny, what are you doing?”

“Nothing.”

‘Nothing’ usually means he’s doing something.

I peaked around the corner and there he was, playing with a few toys, happy in his own little world.

Later, the same scenario…

“Johnny, what are you doing?”

This time with some irritation, “Nothing and nothing will happen if you just don’t talk to me.”

Soon he’ll be asking for his own flat (apartment).
